Lately, there’s been a lot of talk about trade wars, tariffs, and an "us vs. them" mentality. It’s unsettling and frightening, and it affects all of us in some way.

A trade dispute with the U.S. may bring challenges, but for now — and for as long as feasible — VC will absorb any tariff-related costs on behalf of our U.S. customers as they are an integral part of our business.

In a world that seems to bring new obstacles every day, one thing remains constant: we are a company that puts our community and values before profits. Always.

We show this in who we are: A diverse team committed to uplifting the most marginalized voices in our community.

We show this in what we create: A gender-free, fit-based product line was a demanding, resource-intensive four-year project. But it was necessary—to ensure every player, regardless of gender or body shape, can wear VC apparel without prejudice or shame.

We show this in how we manufacture: Locally in Canada for most VC gear and locally in Europe for all Lookfly and VC Ultimate Europe apparel. It’s not the easiest or most profitable route, but it’s the right one—one that has sustained us for 27 years.

Equitable action matters. It matters to us, and it needs to matter to you, your teammates, and our entire community. Amid the noise of division and indignation, we can choose a different path—one of unity, integrity, and purpose.
