Cárdenas x VC

The Cárdenas twins, Manuela and Valeria, are two of the most impressive ultimate athletes in history. They started playing at 9. By 13, they were on Colombia’s U19 national team and brought home gold. Their speed, skill, and instinctive chemistry make them a force on the field. They've represented Colombia at the highest levels—World Championships, World Games—and earned global respect.

They are also really, really cool people and fun members of our community.

"I met Manu first at a world championship in 2012 and was immediately told by Colombian coaching legend, Mauricio Moore, to "watch out for her". It wasn't until the WFDF 2018 Under 24 World Ultimate Championships in Perth, Western Australia that I realized there were two of them. I said an enthusiastic "hello" to Manu who looked completely confused and shyly turned away. The next day, I say "hi" again and she was super friendly... and then Valeria walked up next to her and I realized what was happening." - Adriana Withers, VC Ultimate CEO

A Global Phenomenon

By 2018, the Cárdenas twins were making their mark on the global ultimate media scene, and their explosive plays were finding their way all over Ultiworld clips and ultimate Instagram accounts after every major event.

Ultimate Style

Manu and Vale, as they are better know on the field, have played on a LOT of teams that VC has outfitted over the years, and never have either of them ordered the same size twice. Ultimate Performance

It also felt like a natural fit to work on a performance collection together, and we are excited to introduce the Cárdenas x VC collection.
